Allen Savedoff’ a member of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and Pacific Symphony’ is a busy freelance musician based in Los Angeles’ CA. On this’ his third solo album’ he is featured on bassoon and contrabassoon and is heard playing many other woodwinds. Recent film soundtrack credits include Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’ Wolverine’ Spiderman 3′ The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ Step Brothers’ Bedtime Stories and The Princess and the Frog. His television credits include The Pacific’ Pinky and the Brain’ and Animaniacs. A graduate of the University of Michigan and the Hart School of Music’ he is originally from Rochester’ New York. Previous solo albums by Savedoff are Contradiction’ a collection of jazz standards for contrabassoon; and SaviorFaire’ a classical album for bassoon and contrabassoon. Both are available on Capstone Records.
